Make a Bowl at the Floyd Center for the Arts. Help Feed a Child.
We are proud to partner with the Floyd County Empty Bowls fundraiser benefiting the New River Community Action Floyd County Backpack Program.
Since 2006, the Backpack Program has delivered more than 600,000 weekend meals to Floyd County children.
We currently have 100 bowls completed and many more in the making, but we need your help to reach our goal of 300 handmade, food-safe bowls.
Artisans working in clay, wood, glass, gourds, metal, and other food-safe functional mediums are invited to contribute. Handmade bowls may be delivered to the Floyd Center for the Arts during gallery hours.
