Plein Air Soirée | September 17

Get a Taste of Art at the Plein Air Soirée

Join the Floyd Center for the Arts for a special evening of art, food, live music, and conversation during the 5th Floyd Plein Air Biennial.

The Plein Air Soirée takes place Thursday, September 17, from 6–8 PM at the Floyd EcoVillage & Event Center, bringing together participating artists, patrons, and art lovers for one of the signature events of Biennial Week.

Guests will enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres catered by Maples Restaurant & Tavern, a complimentary drink, and live music by Jennifer Brooke and Mike Mitchell while spending time with the 30 artists participating in this year’s Biennial.

Small Art Sale

The evening will also feature an exclusive Small Art Sale with original works donated by participating Biennial artists. Each piece will be 8x10 inches or smaller and priced at $250 or less, offering guests a special opportunity to take home an original work while supporting the arts.

Proceeds from the Small Art Sale benefit the Floyd Center for the Arts Education Program.
