Call for Artists & Makers: Winterfest 2026

Applications are now open for the 32nd Annual Winterfest & Festival of Trees at the Floyd Center for the Arts!
Winterfest returns December 5 & 6, 2026, from 10 AM–5 PM for a festive weekend celebrating art, craft, creativity, and the holiday season. For more than three decades, Winterfest has brought together regional artists and makers with community members looking for unique, handmade gifts.
Last year, more than 1,400 visitors attended Winterfest, making it one of the Floyd Center for the Arts’ largest annual events and a favorite holiday shopping tradition.
Artists & Makers Wanted
The Floyd Center for the Arts is currently accepting applications from artists and craftspeople interested in participating in this year’s Winterfest.
Winterfest is a curated handmade market. All items offered for sale must be handmade or original creations by the participating artist or maker. Resale and commercially manufactured products are not accepted.

A Floyd Holiday Tradition
Winterfest is about more than holiday shopping. The weekend transforms the Floyd Center for the Arts into a celebration of creativity and community, giving visitors the opportunity to meet the people behind the work, discover original art and craft, and support regional artists.
Winterfest is held alongside the annual Festival of Trees, adding even more holiday cheer throughout the Center.
Whether you work in ceramics, jewelry, fiber, woodworking, painting, printmaking, glass, photography, mixed media, or another creative medium, we invite you to apply and be part of this long standing Floyd tradition.
We look forward to celebrating 32 years of Winterfest with our artists, makers, and community this December!
