Shop Handmade at the Floyd Living Traditions Festival


One of the highlights of the Floyd Living Traditions Festival is the opportunity to meet the artists, makers, craftspeople, and small businesses who keep traditional skills alive while creating something new. This year’s festival will feature 29 vendors offering handcrafted goods, artwork, home décor, jewelry, woodwork, fiber arts, books, specialty foods, and more.


From handmade Appalachian baskets and traditional brooms to fine art, woodturned pieces, mosaics, furniture, leatherwork, herbal products, and locally inspired gifts, the festival marketplace offers something for everyone. Visitors can meet the makers, learn about their creative process, and support artists and craftspeople from across Southwest Virginia and beyond.

The vendor marketplace is just one part of a full day celebrating the living traditions of Floyd County and Appalachia. The 4th Annual Floyd Living Traditions Festival takes place Saturday, August 22, from 10 AM–5 PM at the Floyd Center for the Arts. Admission is free, and the event will take place rain or shine.
