A Grief Counselor with Good Samaritan Hospice will be partnering with Floyd Center for the Arts to bring you this unique workshop.
Sometimes words are not enough to express the depths of our grief. Using creative expression through art can be a powerful tool to help us express our feelings, especially when we have trouble verbalizing our inner experiences. During our time together, a work of art will be created that requires no artistic ability! Artist Amie Slate will be facilitating our creation.
Grief Information and time for connection and reflection will be provided throughout the workshop.
There is a $15 fee for this workshop (scholarships available). Pre-registration required as space is limited.
The workshop will be held Tuesday, September 10, 2019, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m
For more information and to pre-register, please contact Good Samaritan Hospice's bereavement coordinator, Ginger Furmage, at 540.381.3171 or firstname.lastname@example.org
