Looking for a meaningful way to get involved in your community, meet new people, and support the arts? The Floyd Center for the Arts invites you to join us for our upcoming Volunteer Orientation on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at 12:00 PM!
Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. From helping bring exhibitions and festivals to life to supporting educational programs and welcoming visitors, our dedicated volunteers play an essential role in connecting people through creativity, craftsmanship, and community.
Whether you're an artist, an art enthusiast, or simply someone who enjoys giving back, there's a place for you at the Art Center!
Discover Ways to Get Involved
There are many opportunities to share your time, talents, and interests at the Art Center! Volunteer opportunities may include:
Exhibitions & Galleries: Assist with exhibition installations, receptions, and special gallery events.
Festivals & Community Events: Help bring celebrations like the Living Traditions Festival, Winterfest, and other community events to life.
Arts Education & Workshops: Support instructors, students, and hands-on creative experiences.
Special Events & Fundraising: Assist with silent auctions, community gatherings, and fundraising activities.
Behind-the-Scenes Support: Help with administrative projects, outreach, organizing, and other activities that keep the Art Center running.
No artistic experience is required! We welcome volunteers with a wide range of backgrounds, skills, and interests.
What to Expect at Volunteer Orientation
Our Volunteer Orientation is an opportunity to learn more about the Floyd Center for the Arts, explore available volunteer roles, and discover how you can make a difference.
We'll introduce you to the Art Center's mission, programs, and volunteer opportunities, answer questions, and help you identify ways to get involved that match your interests and availability.
Whether you have a few hours to give throughout the year or would like to volunteer regularly, we appreciate every contribution!
