Returning again this year is our ever-popular annual Kids Art Camp – many adults want to join us, but sorry – it’s just for kids! Each year we strive to teach campers about all kinds of art and art techniques by making art in a variety of mediums with a broad range of guest artists.

This year’s theme, ‘With My Own Two Hands’, will focus on the everyday art that surrounds us, and the importance of the handmade lifestyle, including the satisfaction of making and decorating some of those items that we use everyday with our own two hands. We will try our hands at several types of everyday art, including soap-making, pottery, fabric dyeing, sewing projects and lots more functional craft activities.

During the week your child will engage in at least 2 different art classes during the day, have time outside to play and get some exercise, have their lunch with friends, and have a healthy snack. Tuition includes all materials and classes and the healthy daily snack. Lunches will need to be packed and brought from home. The week will culminate with a Friday Art Exhibit. Parents/family/friends are invited join us at 3:00 pm for a special art show that the campers will produce themselves.
