About the Exhibition
Tuition for members is $55.00 and for non members, $68.75.
Material fee: $10/student.
This weekend workshop meets Saturday and Sunday, May 18 and 19, 2019 from 10am- 3pm.
Students may purchase a Beginner Bookbinding Kit ($15) from instructor at the beginning of class that includes: (1) awl, (1) bone folder, (4) curved bookbinding needles, and (1) 4 oz. container slow drying bookbinders glue.
In this 2 day workshop, participants will raid the instructors collection of vintage books to create (2) blank books using the traditional coptic binding stitch. This stitch is an exposed, sewn stitch that allows the book to lay flat when opened. Perfect for journaling!
