“I have delighted in creating contemporary dog paintings since 2003, exhibiting in several states.  But I only discovered needle felting in 2018, shortly after relocating to Winston Salem and finding classes at the Sawtooth Center.  I find it remarkable that bunches of sheep's wool can be manipulated into pictures through the use of needles.  As I continue to explore designs and techniques, the mountains of Virginia and the Blue Ridge Parkway, so dear to my heart, provide plenty of inspiration."
