The Floyd Center for the Arts is excited to announce the return of the Floyd Artisan Market, kicking off the 2026 season on Friday, May 8 from 5 to 9 PM at the Community Market Pavilion, 203 South Locust Street, Floyd, VA, next to The Station.
Presented by the Floyd Center for the Arts and hosted at the Community Market Pavilion in partnership with SustainFloyd, the Floyd Artisan Market is a longtime community tradition that brings together local and regional artisans offering handmade arts and crafts in a lively, open air setting.
Held on Friday evenings throughout the season, the market creates a welcoming space for community members and visitors to connect directly with artists, support local makers, and experience the creativity that defines Floyd.
Visitors can expect a rotating selection of handmade goods, including fine art, jewelry, pottery, textiles, woodwork, handmade crafts, and more. The market also serves as an opportunity to meet the artists behind the work and learn more about the handmade traditions that continue to thrive in the region.
The May 8 kickoff arrives just in time for Mother’s Day weekend and offers a chance to shop local while finding one of a kind handmade gifts created by artists from Floyd and the surrounding area.
The Floyd Artisan Market reflects the Floyd Center for the Arts’ mission to connect people through visual arts and handmade craft while supporting artists and fostering community engagement.
We hope you will join us for the opening night of the season and help celebrate the artists, makers, and creative spirit that make Floyd so unique.
