Feb. 15, Information Session • Floyd Artisan Trail

Thinking about applying to the 2026 Floyd Artisan Trail but unsure about hosting at your own location?

Join us for a Pre-Application Information Session designed especially for artists who have questions or uncertainties about showing at their home, studio, or workspace.

 Floyd Center for the Arts

 Sunday, February 15

 3 - 4 PM

Learn directly from the artisans and event chairs of the 2026 Floyd Artisan Trail. We’re proud to welcome Wendy Werstlein and Carrie Gault, both talented artists and long-time Trail participants. Their deep connection to the Trail and to Floyd’s creative community brings fresh energy and insight to this beloved event.

This session will cover:

• What it looks like to participate if your studio is at home

• Creative and practical display options for different types of spaces

• Safety, signage, and visitor flow considerations

• Ideas for engaging visitors at your stop, including demonstrations and workshops

• Alternatives if your workspace needs additional support

Please bring images of your workspace and where you might like to display and sell your work. There will be time for questions and discussion.

A recording will be available for those who are unable to attend in person.

Artist applications are now open for the 2026 Floyd Artisan Trail (June 20 & 21).

Application deadline: February 27, 2026

Please RSVP to the Facebook event so we know to expect you and can share the recording afterward. All are welcome!
