I have my BA in English Teaching and my MAT in Secondary Education, both from the University of New Hampshire. I have over five years experience teaching High School English in New Hampshire, and much time spent in various internships, substitute teaching, observations, etc., at all different grade levels. I taught a Community College course in American Literature to a group of Firemen in NH who were earning their Associate's Degree. This class was actually taught at the Fire Station. I earned my TEFL certificate in Prague, CZ through a rigorous month of instruction while living abroad. I have led multiple Creative Writing workshops over Zoom and in person, taught English as a foreign language to a group of Russians for about two years, raised two creative and independent children of my own, and write literally wherever I go. I was a Contributing Writer for "St.Augustine Social" magazine in St.Augustine, Florida, which involved interviewing local people and writing about them. I also have a poem published in a leading Educational Journal for Teachers of English, "English Journal." I have traveled extensively and come from a family of educators, as my parents were Professors, writers and teachers.
