Intro to Large Format Cameras (TWD-072024)

A 2-hour class combining lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on learning. Cameras from 2x3 to 8x10 will be available, dating from 1915 to 2020. Students will observe and identify properties and differences in the available cameras, including learning focusing techniques. Lecture information will include the advantages and disadvantages of each, the change throughout the years in camera production, and more. If adequate interest is evinced, there will be a further class on actual large format shooting technique.
