As the warm weather approaches, the human desire to spend time with nature grows. As we do
so, we bring our creative practices with us to fill our own natural spaces with art. The Floyd
Center for the Arts is celebrating this practice with YardART - an afternoon to showcase, sell,
and enjoy wondrous yard art creations. This call for art is open to any maker who creates their
own outdoor art, of any medium. All art must be able to live outside and handmade (no mass production).
Applications will be accepted based on meeting criteria and on a first-come, first-serve basis. YardART will coincide with FCA’s House & Garden Tour event, with FCA being the host for lunch. Booth spaces will be 10’x10’ and will be located on the lawn of FCA. ($35 non-refundable booth fee)
Artists must provide their own tables and tents if desired; a limited number of tables will be
available via request on a first come, first serve basis.
The deadline to apply is June 9th
Artists are responsible for bringing all artwork to FCA. Open to all artists of any age. FCA reserves the right to use art images for the purpose of promotion and marketing. FCA will not be held liable for any damages to artwork. By submitting this application and fee, I agree that my consent is given for this agreement.
