Class Description

This class will use fresh plant materials to be transferred onto white silk scarves instead of dyes. We will be using a steam setting technique that will set the color and patterns permanently onto the silk. All materials will be provided but if you have plants, leaves, or flowers that you would like to use please bring them to class. Be advised that we will cut and use them so they will be disposed of after class. You will be provided 3 scarves to work with in class. One habotai silk, one chiffon silk, your choice for the third scarf.
