What's more fun than a puppet with your own style, favorite colors and even your face! Join us in creating a one of a kind personal puppet to help end those days of boredom! Students will collage their own elements, including a picture of themselves, to create themselves. Please have students bring a picture of themselves that is able to be cut. If students don't have a picture of themselves, we will take one and print it during class. Age requirement is enforced, any student younger than 6 must have a parent/guardian accompanying them for the duration of the class.

About the Instructor
Alicia graduated Floyd County Highschool in 1994 and lives her life in a way that aligns with the Shakespeare quote: A Jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better then the master of one. Her artistic interests and talents are many, ranging from stained glass, sculpture, batik, basket weaving, tie dying, etc. Alicia has years of experience in children's art education, including teaching at FCA's After School Arts Program, Homeschool Program, and Kids Camps.
Class Registration and Cancellation Policy
Advance Registration Required.
Registration: Class registrations are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cancellation/Refund: The Floyd Center for the Arts will conduct classes for which an adequate number of students are registered. Class status is determined 1 week before the first date of the class, unless otherwise noted. Acceptance of payment does not guarantee that a class will run. If the Center must cancel a scheduled class, students who registered for such classes will be given the opportunity to transfer their payments to another course or receive a full refund of their tuition payment.
Student Withdrawals: Students withdrawing from a class before the cancellation period has ended, (one week prior to the start of class, unless otherwise noted) can receive a full refund or may transfer their payments to another class of their choice. Students who withdraw after the cancellation period has closed or after class has started, will not receive a refund.
