You will create a small, photographic series. We will have a brief intro to the history and technical aspects of photography and the camera. Your series of photos will be based on the following Elements of Art and Principles of Design: Line, Shape, Texture, Color (Analogous/Complementary), Balance (Asymmetrical/Rule of Thirds) Rhythm/Repetition/Pattern, Perspective (Bird’s-Eye/Worm’s-Eye/Looking Through)

Langley Anderson grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, and received her Bachelor of Arts from Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas. She recently earned her Master of Fine Arts in studio art, with a concentration in photography, from Radford University in Radford, Virginia.
Langley’s work has been exhibited in many solo and group shows throughout Virginia, Texas, and Oregon. She has served on several art committees and presented at SECAC (Southeastern College Art Conference) in Columbus, Ohio. Langley has received awards from Photographer’s Forum, Tokyo International Foto Awards, and the Nikon Small World Photomicrography Competition.
Langley runs Wild ArtRidge Academy, her art school in Radford, works as a free-lance photographer, and teaches Art Appreciation, 2-D Foundations, and Photography at Radford University.
