This three-day course will include one day (Friday) of Plein Air and two days (Saturday and Sunday) of Classroom.

The one day plein air session is designed to teach students to gather on location, landscape references with small postcard size value studies and color studies. The students then learn how to take this valuable information and turn it into a beautiful finished watercolor painting. Tom will provide each student attending a $150.00 gift of ALL new art supplies needed to paint and sketch with in the field. Tom will provide small folding chairs for those who fly in for the workshop, others should bring collapsible chair. Tom will provide bottled water and plenty of nice snacks for the plein air session. No one will go hungry.

At the two day class room study students will learn an easy, exciting way to lay in successful colorful washes then letting the colors mingle and explode on their own to give interesting effects for a bright, luminous finish for a wonderful landscape painting.
