Dec 17: German Christmas Cocktail Party

On Sunday, December 17, 5-8 pm, Germany comes to Floyd for a relaxing afternoon of German Advent and Christmas Traditions. Clemens & Barbara von Claparède-Crola will open their home for a fundraiser supporting the Floyd Center for the Arts.

Clemens and Barbara, originally from Germany, moved to Floyd County over 40 years ago, keeping their German heritage and customs alive. Barbara, an accomplished cook and baker, will provide a variety of German Christmas cookies, heavy hors d’oeuvres, traditional German Christmas punch, as well as the Dresdner Christstollen, a traditional sweet bread filled with nuts and fruits.

Admission to this fundraiser is $85 per person, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Floyd Center for the Arts. Tickets are available NOW! Space is limited; tickets must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold at the door.
